First time ever a perfect stage 2; focussed and relaxed and not the usual fear of anticipating a breath that may not come! Stage 3 wasn't bad either, until I started celebrating how well stage 2 went. Still one small win at a time.....so happy. Thank you all

Q I find the second stage more difficult to focus on the numbering. Any idea why this is more difficult for me than the first stage. Does focusing on the number matter.

Q is it before the in breath and before the outbreath? I always understood it as before the in breath and then after the outbreath. Which of course is very similar, but I’be had this nderstanding for years. Maybe been wrong the whole time ha!

Q Thanks for beautiful meditation. You mentioned something about counting before the outbreath being more focused. My understanding was to first count after the outbreath. Then to count before the in breathe. For stage 1 and 2. But never in between. I.e. never before the outbreath. Is this correct?
