What is the poem called?
Lisa C
59:00
My neighbour, whom I considered family, collapsed in front of me last night and is in hospital as it was a stroke. When I went to the heart, I cried during the meditation. Q: What would you do if this happened?
Annalie, Berlin
59:26
Q: Would you have tips for what type of meditation practice you would do for different times of the day (just after waking up, just before going to sleep)
Jane Moore
59:36
Cant make the last session live tomorrow morning but this three weeks has been awesome, thank you so much for doing this.
Caitlin Goodale
01:00:02
Q when the LBC run normal meditations outside of the challenge, do they have the poems and discussion? really enjoying that aspect. thanks!
Varsha Nichani
01:00:04
any daily tips to work with the mood swings ? with the brain generating negative thoughts ?
Katie
01:00:15
Q - I actually found that session with mixing up the two types of meditation really difficult, I've become more used to the set format. Is it beneficial to work on flexibility with practise in this way?
Jane Moore
01:00:15
Can you post the donation link again please
Erika Karina
01:00:17
not a question but more of a reflection on the fruits of practice. I really resonated with the poem, particularly with the “small familiar pain” as I’ve had a very strong sense of nostalgia all week (outside of sitting practice) that I’ve found very comforting and intriguing
Matthew Johnstone
01:00:29
Q; Did you do stages 3 and 4 of the metta bharavna? Im not sure if I was totally here throughout or not. I felt very distracted at the beginning and then all I remember was metta towards myself then and friend, then everyone
Peter C
01:00:37
Q: I often find pleasant feelings distracting - almost trying to grab a hold of the feeling, and then I lose my attention on the breath. I’d like to be able to welcome the pleasant experiences without getting too distracted. Any tips?
Ben Wylie
01:00:39
Deepest practice for me yet - my bodily sensation seemed outside of my body and very spaciest, and didn’t correlate to my posture - could have happily remained there for some time
Ben Wylie
01:00:50
*spacious
Aoife Dempsey
01:00:53
Thank you!
Salli Radford
01:01:06
Q I'll really miss the community and teaching that I've enjoyed so much during the three weeks, what tips do you have to support us going forward on our meditation journey?
Mark Johnson
01:01:11
What percentage of your meditations.. do you get into a deep state and quiet mind? At the moment id say 50% of my meditations are bliss and 50% I have a lot of background chatter and can’t seem to get into a deep state
Matthew Johnstone
01:01:22
I feel like ive really been able to drop quite deep this week in particular
Zoom user Jane Lord
01:01:24
thank you for a lovely meditation have a good day everyone
Varsha Nichani
01:01:42
how do you carry the peace experienced during meditation into the rest of the day especially if you come across a hurtful situation ?
Lisa C
01:01:45
I liked the poem too (and the poetry aspect of the meditations). I liked the way prayer was the thread through all of the routine activities described in the poem. A nice thought: to live in prayer.
Sophie Harris-Greenslade
01:01:46
Q I’ve been having vivid dreams over the past week, do you think perhaps this could be a result of the meditation practise and have you heard of this happening to others before?
Iwona Lokwenc
01:01:55
q: can we say that meta is about cultivation of heart and mindfulness of breathing about the brain at least that's how I fell

Q. Firstly Thank you so much for another wonderful way to change up and use the stages to mediate in a different way today. When breathing should you just use the breath in and out of the nose or do you inhale through nose and exhale through the mouth ? I’d like to be practicing the breath work the right way to fully experience deep meditation . Thank you
Matthew Johnstone
01:07:05

Really enjoyed that meditation, combining the two practices let me go much deeper today. Unfortunately this is my last day on the challenge as I am working all day tomorrow. But I have thoroughly enjoyed the whole challenge and am thankful for the guidance, wisdom and discussions I have had. Lovely to be part of a community, and I wish you all the best for the future :)

I found the description of allowing all your weight to push down into the chair and floor really allowed me to release that gripping tension in my legs, and was easy to come back to. Thanks for the week.

Yes. I find it uncomfortable that my breath changes so much when I focus on it. The Eisenberg principle sys that all things change (even atoms) when you observe them, so there’s no getting away from it, it seems.
