Q: We may have already had this question before and apologies for repeating it: usually I'm always daydreaming yet this time I was so sleepy in the 3rd and 4th stage. What does this mean? Why am I sleepy now when that's not usually my problem? And what can I do about it? :-)
Alison Laycock
01:16:55
Thank you Mahamani, that was lovely. After yesterday’s morning meditation I had such a release of emotion which I clearly needed. Thank you

Q. I found it really helpful when you spoke about us not creating what is happening but observing what is there, with this in mind I feel like the was the 1st time I was able to observe my breath as it actually is. I was struck by how shallow it is, almost imperceptable. I am a person who is often very much in my head and struggle to ground myself in my body, I am wondering if theses connected to my breath and deepening it is something I could work on in order to bring my energy down into my body in every day life?
Michaela
01:17:22
Question: I have just realised that not eating before meditation this morning might have helped with the excess of energy I have been feeling lately. It wasn`t there this morning. Is this possible ? Thank you very much !
Marie Molloy
01:18:08

Thank you Mahamani and Collette, it was beautiful to be with you all this morning. I agree that there is tiredness around at the moment as we have and are in something momentous. So I was grateful for this space this morning. Have a good day.

Q. I am sometimes overwhelmed with scary feelings when doing mindfulness of b. I find a good way of dealing with this is to do self metta, so my meditation becomes a mix of the 2 practices. Is this OK?
Geraldine
01:19:34
Thank you Mahamani and Collette and everyone.

Q: I don't sit for meditation with any expectation or desiring for certain outcome but when I start getting that silence/ emptiness/ pleasurable feeling then it becomes tempting/ desiring to maintain that feeling. I think practice will make this gradual change. Isn't it? Also I'm not trying to compare any previous meditation experience with any current, considering impermanence nature and trying to be in with current experience as whole. Today it was very nice experience.
Robert Rowe
01:21:03
Thank you for that answer about regular timing, Mahamani. Will do!

Q:I do the weekday morning LBC sessions every day but only on the weekend do I do my own practice (sometimes I even join the Brighton BC drop in too). Should I try to do my own meditations more often?

Q: I found myself very embodied today, but I ALSO had a lot of thoughts. it feels like a sort of gripping in my head. if the gripping's in my heart, I just breathe into it, but when its in my head I feel like awareness there triggers thoughts. any tips? :) thank you!
